Sleep comes readily, lazing about seems natural, enjoying the regional food comes with expectation (and no disappointment) and then there is the scenery, the wildlife, the bird song. “La Maisonette is the cutest cottage I’ve had the pleasure to stay in!  This charming stone cottage is a cozy and comfortable sanctuary.  Set atop a grassy hillside, it delights one with spectacular views of the Lot River and valley below.  Particularly enjoyable is the terrace where I’ve enjoyed many meals while taking in the dramatic yet bucolic scenery.” -- Mark A’quilo, New Jersey, United States

“We loved staying at La Maisonette. The gorgeous stone patio overlooking the river was a great way to spend a morning writing or an evening watching the sunset. We had fires almost every night in the fireplace and cuddled on the couch. We ate the most delicious food. We went for walks in the enchanted woods and down the road to the idyllic country village. It is so peaceful here.” -- Rebecca Elswit, California, United States
